Returns & Exchanges

At The Footwear Store, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please review the guidelines below before requesting a return or exchange.


 

Proof of Purchase

All returns or exchanges must be accompanied by proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice).


 

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Refunds are only provided where required under Australian Consumer Law, such as when a product is confirmed to be faulty.


 

Exchanges 

We are happy to offer an exchange within 7 days of the purchase date for shoes that are incorrect in size.

To be eligible:

  • Shoes must not have been worn outside

  • Shoes must be clean and in resalable condition

  • Shoes must be returned with original packaging

  • Proof of purchase must be provided

Exchanges are available for incorrect sizing only.


 

Faulty Products

If you believe your shoes are faulty within 30 days of purchase, please return them to our store for assessment.

We will work with the brand to review the product. If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing fault, we will provide a replacement pair.

Please return faulty items with:

  • Original packaging

  • Proof of purchase


 

Clearance Items

All clearance items are final sale.

Clearance products cannot be returned or exchanged, including for change of mind or incorrect sizing.
`They will only be reviewed if believed to be faulty.


 

Hygiene Items

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Socks

  • Compression wear

Comfort Club Loyalty Program Terms & Conditions

The Footwear Store (NSW)

Effective Date: March 20 2026


1. Membership

  1. The Comfort Club (“the Program”) is offered by The Footwear Store, NSW, Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

  2. Membership is open to anyone who creates a Smile.io account and provides a valid email address.

  3. By joining, members agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Earning Points

  1. Members earn 1 Comfort Club point for every $1 spent on purchases at The Footwear Store (online or in-store).

  2. Points are only awarded for full payment orders and cannot be earned on refunded or cancelled orders.

  3. Points are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be sold or exchanged.


3. Rewards

  1. Members can redeem 400 points for a $40 reward (“Comfort Club Reward”).

  2. Rewards can only be redeemed once per order and cannot be combined with other rewards or discounts.

  3. Rewards have an expiry date as stated in your email or account. Expired rewards cannot be reinstated.

  4. Rewards apply to eligible products only and cannot be used for gift cards.


4. Point Expiry

  1. Points may expire after a period of inactivity, as communicated in your Comfort Club account or via email.

  2. We reserve the right to adjust points or expiry policies at our discretion, with notice to members.


5. Program Changes

  1. The Footwear Store may modify, suspend, or cancel the Program at any time without prior notice.

  2. Changes may include adjustments to points earning rates, reward amounts, redemption rules, or membership eligibility.

  3. Members will not lose any points or rewards already earned before a change is applied.


6. General Conditions

  1. Membership is subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

  2. We reserve the right to disqualify members or revoke points/rewards in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

  3. By participating, members consent to receiving marketing communications from The Footwear Store. Members can unsubscribe at any time.


7. Privacy

  1. Personal information collected for the Program will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  2. Points balances, reward activity, and communications are managed via Smile.io and Klaviyo.
